Step 2. Fill with Lighter Fluid: Use the palm of your hand to gently unscrew the top of the lighter, exposing the cotton filler inside. Carefully pour lighter fluid into the cotton, making sure not to overfill to avoid spills. Once filled, securely screw the top back on, ensuring it is tightly closed.
Step 3. Adjust the Flint: Locate the flint adjustment cap on the side near the top of the lighter. Adjust the cap as necessary to ensure the flint is applying the correct pressure against the wheel for optimal sparking.
Step 4. Replace the Flint: If needed, carefully unscrew the flint adjustment cap, being cautious of the spring that may shoot out. Remove any old flint remnants. Place a new flint inside, then reinsert the spring on top and screw the cap back on.
Step 5. Fine-Tune for Best Performance: After reassembling, adjust the cap until you achieve the desired pressure for reliable ignition and optimal flame.
