Step 1. Prepare the Lighter: Ensure the lighter is cool to the touch and positioned in a well-ventilated area. Locate the tank plug at the bottom of the lighter. Gently unscrew the tank plug to open the tank.
Step 2. Choose the Correct Fuel: For best results, fill your lighter with high-quality lighter fluid. Avoid lower-quality fluids as they can degrade the wick and affect performance.
Step 3. Filling: Carefully pour the lighter fluid into the tank, taking care not to overfill. Fill just enough to avoid any overflow.
Step 4. Check and Ignite: After refilling, ensure the wick is the correct length and allow a few minutes for the fluid to absorb fully into the wick. Test the lighter to confirm it functions correctly.
*Troubleshooting: If your lighter is not producing a spark, you may need to replace the flint. Unscrew the part containing the flint and spring | be cautious as the spring may shoot out. Remove the old flint, place a new one, then reassemble by placing the spring on top of the flint and screwing the cover back on. Test to ensure it is creating a spark | now your lighter is dialed in and ready to tackle any lighting needs!
